Winter Solstice

Yeah, this feels so out of place now in the end of January

This is actually my entry for *InsaneJudge's Winter Solstice contest. As the pagan I am, the first thing I thought when hearing the contest theme was "Winter Solstice", was of course Yule.

Yule is a time of rebirth, light and new beginnings. At Yule, the God is reborn and the Goddess, in her aspect as Crone, is reborn as the Maiden.

I lost the motivation for this one half-way through, due to the fact that I'm all out of Christmas thoughts, and that I'm actually longing for the spring rather than staying in the winter, and to look forward instead of looking back, but I guess that's what Yule is about as well
This is also the first time ever I draw a baby, and it was actually harder than I thought X_x
