Hi guys!
First of all, I'd once again like to remind everyone that my contest ends this sunday, so get the entries in before that. I will start the judging this coming monday!
Now that that's done, let's start the real journal!
November... What can I say...?
I hate November. It's one of the worst months of the year. It's cold, wet, grey, depressing, and there's absolutely nothing to look forward to. I always gets depressed around this month, and spends the month just sitting and comfort eating candy.
Some days ago we had the first snow, wet snow that just made you even colder when standing outside waiting for the bus. I don't mind snow, but not when it just melts as soon as it touches the ground and makes everything not only cold, but WET and cold... >_<'
This week has been, well... It's had it's ups and downs, but mostly it has been nice.
I was at the dentist this monday, which was... interesting. I was sent there by my regular dentist, to these experts, and the first thing they did was to ask ME why I was there. Like if I know why my dentist sent me there X_x
Atleast they actually decided to do something with the damn teeths so I don't complain. They will fix them in, hopefully, two steps, that will include surgery of my gums >_<'
To be honest, I'm damn tired of all these problems with my mouth, so I hope it will work out so I don't have to worry more about it...
The tuesday was a nightmare X_x
Such a painfully long and draining day... But atleast we got our ordinary math teacher back, and to be honest, I've never been so happy to go on a math lesson!
Beside that, not much happened.
On wednesday we started our theme work about different time eras. I was in the 19th century group with two other persons from my class. It was actually really nice, and that's much coming from me!
Normally I really hate groupworks, I despise them! It always ends with me just doing some half-assed job and not feeling inspired at all, but this time I felt it really worked out! My group was very nice, and we all did our work with any complains or arguments, and everyone got to do something they were interested in. I will try to post some sketches I did when I visit Tirr tomorrow.
Yesterday was spent working on the group work, and after school I went over to Tirr's place, and we watched Repo! the genetic opera.
I... don't know what to say... just... wow!
I loved it! It was so dark, raw, brutal and yet so beautiful! It was original, twisted and fascinating, and it kept your attention from the beginning and all the way to the end! And the music! I'm so glad I saw it!
When it comes to the characters, Graverobber was definitely my favourite, but I liked Nathan and Pavi as well, and Blind Mag had such a cool design! I hated Rotti though, fucking creepy old guy, yuck >_<'
Oh well, it was awesome, I recomend you to go and see it, unless you dislike anything bloody...

Oh, and while speaking of livejournal! One of my favourite artists, Silvestris, is doing one of those "do-a-sketch-every-day" thing, so she posts sketches of her own characters on livejournal every day, and it makes me so happy to get nice Silvy sketches EVERY day throughout this horrible month!

And for the artistic front... I still have some things I've promised people to do, like trades and contest entries. I also should make the lineart for my collab with Vixen, and start colouring hers. At the moment, I don't have much I've started on, only one drawing where I'm trying to work as I used to do before, and see how it will work out, and I'm doing a tutorial on it as well ^^
...but I'm not feeling inspired by that at the moment, so I'll probably wait with that one until later...
Then of course I have some own ideas as well, like a drawing of Daemon, a new design for Nimue and some giftarts for people...
